Upcycling rejected logos and making it available for the public
Fairpixels is open sourcing rejected logos for anyone to use. You can use them in your personal and commercial projects and some logos are actually quite well designed. After all, these logos were designed by professionals. You can download them in its AI file or in PNG format.
Thumbs up to Fairpixels for creating this, this brings “recycling and sustainability” goes beyond materiality and up from a physical level to a virtual level. It is interesting because if you think about it, many man-hours and electricity / resources is spent into making these logos, and these too cost money!Startups will find this especially appealing because this is a good platform to get the rough direction of the logo, however, additional tweaks should be made so that it does not look too similar should other companies use it too. If a logo is too common, it would seem like it is something ripped from Shutterstock or Fiverr.
New designs are mailed to your inbox weekly if you subscribe to them.

Speaking about Fiverr, there is an interesting article about Fiverr’s logo design services that I would like to share soon. So stay tuned.
